How many types of partition panels are there, what are their advantages, disadvantages, and uses

There are generally three most common types of partition boards: high-strength ceramic particle board, GRC lightweight partition board, and magnesite partition board. The advantages and disadvantages are as follows.

1. High strength ceramic particle board. Advantages: High strength, fireproof, moisture-proof, soundproof, and strong hanging force. Disadvantages: Heavy quality and high installation difficulty. Usage: Basement, toilet, interior and exterior partition walls of first floor buildings.

2. GRC lightweight partition panel. Advantages: Lightweight, soundproof, fireproof, moisture-proof, moderate hanging force, and convenient installation. Disadvantage: Slightly lower strength. Usage: The internal partition wall of a house.

3. Magnesia partition panel. Advantages: Light weight, sound insulation, fire resistance, strong hanging force, and convenient installation. Disadvantages: Fear of water and moisture. Initially, the strength is high, but as moisture invades, the strength drops sharply and even turns into powder. Usage: Dry interior partition walls of houses.
